The Aarhus Workbench integrates extensive GIS functionality. From the GIS map data and models are direct accessible and is visualized in plots or tables. Because data quality often is related to geology and man made structures the processing and inversion modules are also closely integrated with GIS. Despite that the maps is such an basic part of the Workbench the implementation of the GIS functionality is intuative and appealing to most users. Effencitely use does not requiere long experience with GIS.

The GIS-map provides direct and fast access to data, models and borehole information. This gives the posibility to perform high quality processing where artifacts in the data easy can be related to man made structures or other thematic maps. While in a data processing session the exact position of the data, model or even a single selected electrode on a DC profile is automatic highlighted on the GIS-map.
